Class Offsite

What are your thoughts regarding having class offsite on Thursday, April 25th?  What are things we need to consider if we move class?

Based on your interest and the discussion here we'll make a final decision on Tuesday night.

  1. One thing to consider would work/class/meetings that would either cause students to be late to the class and or to need to back on campus right after the scheduled class time.

  2. This is exactly what we need to consider. Would this create a hardship for anyone due to classes or after class commitments? We'll still start at 6 and class would end at 7:15.

  3. I would love to have class offsite. My only concern is that I am unable to drive and would need to have someone give me a ride.

  4. Love the idea, my only concern is the being able to have class- if interpreters want to join in with eating, hard for them to sign and eat at the same time, maybe they could if they take turns, never had two interpreters at a restaurant before to my knowledge for interpreting. So accessibility and interpreters my concern. Is there a place big enough for all of us?

  5. I am okay with the idea of having class offsite, but like Shelby and Maggie I am concerned about everyone having transportation, accessibility, and deciding on a location that would have enough room to accommodate our class size.
