Hi,
My name is Shelby White. I'm also, a Deaf education major, will be minoring in ASL (there is always room to improve skills), that's the main reason I'm taking this class, but I want to see what it can teach me, I always learn something new. Another little tidbit, is that I'm Deaf myself, I sign, and been a part of Deaf culture and community for a long time.
Welcome! It is always great to have Deaf or Hard of Hearing students in the class. I hope you will feel free to contribute and share your own experiences and perspectives throughout the course. Everyone will be a unique experience to this class, whether Deaf or hearing, and it's a great opportunity for each of us to learn from one another.
